Biography

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Julia Skripka was born on September 30, 1982. She graduated with honors from the Kyiv Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after M. Boychuk in 2006. Has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2014. Actively participates in exhibitions and projects, regularly taking part in nationwide and international. Her works are held in Ukrainian museums and private collections in Ukraine, the USA, Germany, France, and Poland.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Since 2010, she has been teaching painting, drawing, and composition, holds the positions of teacher-methodologist and head of the art department at Children's Art School No 5. Primarily works with the ancient and magical technique of icon painting (levkas).
