Opening of the exhibition "Deadline"

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The National Museum of Taras Shevchenko has opened an exhibition of works by Yulia Skrypka "Deadline". The exhibition features works by Ukrainian artist Yulia Skrypka, made in the ancient magical technique of levkas painting - a technique used by Andrei Rublev and Theophanes the Greek and which was pushed aside for many centuries by a lighter and more convenient canvas. Only the icon remained faithful to the levkas.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the works of Yulia Skrypka, one sees her kinship with Bosch - first of all, in the courage of a universal view of the world, in the natural curvature of truth and the absence of taboos.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀According to the artist, "time is running out and we can't delay any longer. Everyone! After all, in the notorious pulsation of veins, in every cell, in the hot air, it is ringing, about to explode... It has already exploded. Changes are irreversible and, perhaps, it's normal, we believe in the best. The main thing is that everyone who makes this conscious, noble, difficult choice should keep their humanity, because the beast is always wandering around, especially in times like these."
